Eurobank is a full service banking institution, with particular emphasis on serving small to mid-size businesses,
professionals, executives and their employees. We also target those people who live and work near our branches
as an important customer base. A major goal of the bank is to provide superior personal service enhanced
through technology.
Banking Products
Eurobank offers a wide range of banking products and services, including business and personal checking
accounts, savings accounts, certificates of deposit, individual retirement accounts (IRA’s), commercial and
consumer loans, mortgages, leasing contracts, Visa credit cards and many branches with Automatic Teller Ma-chines
(ATH). The bank also offers manager checks, money orders, domestic and foreign bank money transfers,
letters of credit, collections, safe deposit boxes and night depository service. Our customers have access to their
accounts through Euronet, our phone banking service.
Leasing
Eurobank established a Leasing Division in October 1999 for both individual and corporate clients. Principal
products for this line of business are autos and trucks, office equipment and industrial equipment.
Facilities
Eurobank's strategy is one of controlled growth based upon products offered with excellent service. Eurobank has expanded its branch-banking network to thirteen locations covering the Caguas, Ponce and San Juan metropolitan areas.
The bank also has a separate center of operations housing the computer system that processes all internal data. Eurobank has separate corporate headquarters offices in the Hato Rey financial district of San Juan.
Mortgages
Eurobank established a Mortgage Division in the last quarter of 1999 to provide various types of residential
mortgages for individual clients. Eurobank provides a broad range of mortgages for purchase or refinance
purposes including mortgages on new construction and second mortgages. Mortgages are granted under pro-grams
such as the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) and Rural
Housing (RH- formerly Farmer's Home Loan Bank). Conventional conforming and non-conforming mort-gages
are also available.
